Following Dorfe’s technical disqualification for being an employee of Barclays, Charles Ofori who posted 39 stable ford points, took home the winning trophy with Daniel List taking the runner-up prise ahead of K. The Board Chairman of Barclays Bank, Dr Charles Mensah, commended Achimota Golf Club for giving them the opportunity to sponsor the flagship event which has been on going since 1969. He described the turn out and décor as fantastics saying Barclays would not relent in sponsoring the event meant to bring customers of the now 146 branches together. He also paid special tribute to Dr Kobina Quansah, a past Managing Director of the Bank and Mr Mike Ezan, a founding member of the BBG-Achimota deal who is also the current president of Achimota Golf Club. He also acknowledged the presence of Hon. Felix Owusu Adjapong, in-coming Energy Minister and Mr Nick Amarteifio.
