THE past week, I am afraid, had nothing but bad news for our nation Ghana. The press, the radio and TV stations, in short, the whole media landscape was strewn with news about the revival of violence in Yendi, the 1-0 defeat of Hearts of Oak at Obuasi by Orlando Pirates of South Africa, the 4-0 white-washing of Kumasi Asante Kotoko by Al-Ahly, and to crown it all, the start of load-shedding by VRA and ECG throughout Ghana. If you wanted bad news, then you could hardly ask for more!
